Delivery & Returns
UK Delivery
For most smaller items, UK Delivery is with Royal Mail and is 2nd class.
Your item will reach you within 2-4 business days of dispatch.
For larger and/ or more expensive items, they are sent via Parcelforce on a next day service and are tracked and insured.
Please note as a very small business, we are unable to dispatch items daily, so please allow additional time for your order to arrive.
If you need your item urgently/ sooner, please contact us and we will aim to accommodate your request.
Sometimes I may need to source packaging for your item, which may cause a delay to your order. As not all items that sell need to be posted, to keep costs down, I only buy the packaging when I know it's needed. If the delay is significant, I will let you know by email.
The price you will pay for delivery will depend on the size and weight of the item.
Delivery costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Please see the illustrative costs below:

Specialist Courier Items
Specialist Courier Service - Additionally, please note there are a small selection of products on our site that are specialist courier only and these will be highlighted in the description of the relevant products. This is due to the age, size and fragile nature of these unique items.
If you would like to buy one of these items, please contact us hello@laboheme.uk with your postcode and we will provide you with a delivery quotation to complete your order.
Please note, if you live in greater Manchester we offer a £15 personal delivery service which is applicable to all items, including Specialist Courier Service Items. You must have a Greater Manchester Postcode. Please select this option at checkout.
Or you can collect these items yourself for free and that option is also available at checkout.
International Delivery
We ship worldwide. If there is an item you would like to buy, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we will provide you with a bespoke delivery quote based on your location and delivery needs. Email us hello@laboheme.uk.
If you would like to reserve the item, while you wait for your quote, please purchase the item as normal and select free local pickup at the checkout. I will then confirm the postage to be paid and invoice you for the additional amount. Once the invoice is settled, I will post your item out to you.
Local Greater Manchester Delivery
You are able to collect all items free from our Heaton Moor base. Please select this option at checkout.
We also offer FREE DELIVERY in Heaton Moor. Must have an SK4 postcode. Select this option at checkout
If you life in Greater Manchester we offer a £15 personal delivery service, which works out a much cheaper option on the specialist courier items
FREE Collection
You can collect your items for Free from our base in Heaton Moor SK4
Please select this option at checkout and we will be in touch to arrange your preferred collection day.
We are also able to occasionally able to arrange free collection from the Ardingly and Newark Antique fairs. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss this option.
RETURNS
Due to the size, age and fragile nature of a lot of our items it can sometimes be a logistical feat getting them to you. As a small business we want to make sure you’re really happy with your purchase and reduce the need for any returns. We have tried our hardest to accurately photograph and describe each item, so you can be clear on what it is you are getting but we know it isn’t always easy buying online, especially antique and vintage items that will have signs of age and use.
If you are thinking of buying an item and have any questions, or would like any more pictures or videos sending to help you make your decision, please get in touch hello@laboheme.uk and we will be happy to talk through your chosen item, so you can be confident in your purchase.
We hope you love your La Boheme purchase but if something isn’t quite right, please get in touch hello@laboheme.uk within 14 days and we are happy to chat and come up with a solution.
You will need a returns number to send back, so please don’t send anything back without getting in touch first.

All items must be returned in their original packaging and sent back via an appropriate courier. Items must reach us in the same condition as they were sent out. When returning an item, the buyer is responsible for any damage in transit, so we suggest using a reputable courier with appropriate insurance and recommend a tracked service.
Please note that this applies to online orders only. Any items delivered or collected in person, must be inspected at the time and will not be eligible for a refund.

GALLERIE LA BOHEME RETURNS
We hold very limited stock of the framed art prints and most framed art will be made to order. All stand alone prints are made to order and are therefore generally non refundable.
Additionally due to the nature of the fine art prints, they are not robust enough to withstand repacking and reposting without damage.
As we are a very small business, for these reasons, we try to reduce returns as much as possible.
If you have any questions about an artwork, please get in touch before your purchase and we will be happy to discuss with you, so you can be confident with your purchase.
Of course we want you to be happy with your purchase and if for any reason you do need to return your item, please get in touch within 14 days and we work with you to find a solution you're happy with.
All inner packaging must be intact. No returns will be accepted where the artwork has been taken out of the protective cellophane slip for prints or the protective plastic inner wrap for framed prints.
